Solitaire – Passito di Verdea
Classification: Passito white wine i.g.t. “collina del milanese”. This wine comes from an ancient local tradition that preserves the best bunches of grapes Verdea to consume them during the Christmas lunch and this is the maximum enhancement for a native wine. Passito di Verdea 2003 received the silver medal at the competition “ selection of the Mayor 2005 “.

Winemaking: Reached a excellent maturity at the end of September, the grapes are gathered in small boxes (about 5 kg), transported to the winery and placed in a suitable withering room where they remain until Christmas when are gently pressed. The very sweet wort obtained is fermented for 6 months in small barrels and matures in small steel tanks.

Palate: full, round and velvety with hints of ripe fruit, jam, acacia honey

Aging: one year by the winemaker, suitable for a good aging, 5-6 years by the buyer

Production: 4.500 bottles (only in years where the grapes reach excellent ripeness)
